After a Team Leaders meeting on Monday, it was agreed that both Edenfield Parish Church and St Paul’s, would now open for private prayer for a short period once a week, between 10.30 and 11.30am.

Edenfield are to open on Wednesday mornings beginning on the 24th June, and St Paul’s on Saturday morning 27th June.

This may be extended, depending upon need.

Strict precautions will be put into place prior to opening. Upon entering the church buildings, please use the hand sanitiser provided and please note that face coverings will be required to be worn by all.

The toilets and kitchens will be unavailable.

We would be very grateful for volunteers, but in line with Church of England guidelines and to minimise the risks to everyone, all volunteers should be under the age of 70.

We appreciate that some of you may be seeing each other for the first time in many weeks. However, we respectfully ask that you meet and greet each other whilst outside the church building, so as to maintain a quiet and peaceful space for individual private prayer inside.
