After a very enjoyable and successful Brass Band Concert held at St Paul’s on Sunday, we are proud to announce that we raised in excess of £500 towards Church Funds. Thank you to all who made it such a successful event. Hope to see you all next year.

The time has come when we bid goodbye to our curate Andy Harper and his family,as he moves on to his new parish in Christ Church, Patricroft. Many of the Team attended Andy’s licensing, and were honoured to present him to the Bishop of Bolton, Mark Ashcroft. RETM churches were very proud to host our Remembrance Day services throughout the Team. Both St Philip’s and Edenfield held their services of Remembrance slightly early, but were supported by their uniform organisations, who were great representatives for Scouting. A very successful quiz night was held at St Andrew’s Church in aid of Tear Fund on Saturday the 16th November. Supported by Churches Together, the evening was given a special community feel with everyone bringing supper, and refreshments. Hopefully they raised quite a bit towards Tear Fund.
Our final total raised from this wonderful event was £9300.00. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event such a success. Here’s to next year….
