How lovely to see so many happy, smiling faces enjoying afternoon tea at Friendship on a Sunday at St Andrew’s. This event has been going several years, and is for those of a certain age who find it difficult to get out and about. The food looks delicious….
Congratulations to our ALMs, Lesley Stear and Sue Holdway, who were commissioned at Manchester Cathedral on Sunday 22nd September. Lesley was commissioned in Prayer and Spirituality, and Sue recommissioned in both Pastoral Care and Worship, having first been commissioned in 2013 . Every blessing to you both in your Ministry.

Our organist Ryan is currently studying at Oxford; Emma our wonderful stand-in is off to Durham, and our amazing Charlotte is about to leave us to study at Cambridge. Enjoy every new challenge Charlotte, and congratulations on a wonderful achievement. God Bless to her, and all our amazing young people throughout…

She is very soon off to university to study Theology, and the congregation came together to say goodbye after today’s service. She was presented with a card and present by our Rector Andy Lindop, and was given the most amazing cake.

Another successful day at the Jigsaw Festival. Last remnants of the cafe, which has seen a very busy day of serving gorgeous cakes and refreshments. Last day tomorrow. 😊

The start of St Paul and Edenfield 6th Jigsaw Festival, is rapidly approaching. The hard work involved in setting up this event certainly cannot be underestimated, but the rewards that come with it make it well worth the effort. Look forward to seeing lots of people coming through the doors of St Paul’s, buying lots of Jigsaws and eating lots of cake…
