Today was a very special day in the life of RETM, when Les Hallam took the final step from being a curate, to being licenced as an Associate Minister by the Bishop of Bolton.                                                     After a few technical issues with zoom, and with many of his friends and family watching, Les was licenced by Bishop Mark  to serve up until the 16th June 2023.                                                                         It was a service filled with much love and laughter, and we all wish Les and Lesley our best wishes as he takes on this new role.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Almighty God, we pray for all who minister within the church,                                                                         and especially today for Les.
Grant him grace to administer your Holy Sacraments,
a sound mind to preach your Word,
hope to comfort and inspire,
and strength to pray for the needs of the world.
May he help to build up your church on earth,                                                                                                    and filled by the Holy Spirit,
reveal your love.
