We are very proud of members of our churches who were confirmed at St Paul’s on Sunday the 16th February, by Mark Bishop of Bolton. It was a wonderful heartfelt service, and showed how much it meant to all of the candidates, by the beaming smiles and tremulous responses. Well done, and congratulations to you all.
After St Paul’s organ being somewhat incapacitated for nearly three years, they are now very pleased to announce that it has now been repaired. To celebrate this momentous occasion, they are holding a short recital on the 29th March, after Morning Worship. Churches Together will be back on Sunday 15th December in St Paul’s gardens from 12.00 – 4.00pm. Come and have a picture taken in Nativity costumes, both children and adults.
Ernie and Tilly helped light the Advent Candles at St Andrews on Sunday. The second candle represents ‘hope’. We eagerly wait, in anticipation, knowing that Christ will come again.
