Messy Church meets monthly at St Andrew’s Church from 3-5pm on the first Saturday of the month. It is a custom made service aimed at children and their parents, who have great fun doing messy crafts and learning about the Christian faith.


Dad’s Zoo is a monthly gathering of dads and their young children to give mums a break and network together. Held on the last Saturday of the month, 9.30am -11.30am at St Andrew’s.

Friendship on Sunday is a monthly tea party for elderly people hosted by St Andrew’s on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 3-5pm.

The Puppet Group meets weekly in term-time on Tuesdays at St Andrew’s to practice and members perform regularly at different events throughout the year.


Ramsbottom Community Choir meets weekly in term-time at St Andrew’s from 7pm-8.30pm on Thursdays.

The Befriending Scheme is run with the other churches in Ramsbottom to offer friendship and support to the housebound and lonely.

Connect Groups meet on different days and at different times to offer a variety of opportunities to meet together in small groups to study the bible, pray together and support one another.

A Book Club meets regularly to chat about a book that all have been reading. Times vary.

Children’s groups are run most Sundays at St Andrew’s and Edenfield.

Flame is a term-time group for high school children that meets fortnightly at St Andrew’s on Mondays from 6.30pm.

The Ladies Group meets monthly at St Paul’s on the 2nd Tuesday evening of each month at 7.30pm for a varied programme of speakers. The group also holds a social afternoon every 4th Wednesday.

A Toddler groups meets at St Paul’s on Fridays from 9.30am to 11.30am in term-time.
